The Significance of the Travel Location Log:

In the business world, it's common for employees to operate outside their usual office settings. Whether it's attending sales meetings, making service calls, providing on-site customer services, or handling deliveries, out-of-office activities are plentiful. Typically, businesses rely on separate apps to monitor these travels, leading to a disconnect from their primary task management systems.

Jugl bridges this gap. With Jugl, employees can initiate travel tracking and log each stop they make. This comprehensive log not only documents each halt but also captures the entire travel route. It's important to highlight that this feature is permission-based, ensuring that tracking only occurs upon the user's request, guaranteeing privacy and autonomy.

Accessibility of Travel Details:

As of now, all users can view their colleagues' travel details. However, plans are in the pipeline to restrict this access, limiting it to supervisors and administrators in the near future, ensuring a more controlled sharing of information.

To log your travel, click on the "Time Clock" option on your app's home screen. Please note, this will soon be renamed to "Travel Log."

Upon accessing the Travel Log page, click on the "Clock In" button to initiate the travel tracking. Once activated, you'll be presented with the following screen detailing your journey.

To stop tracking your journey, simply click the "Clock Out" button. Refer to the subsequent screen to locate this button option.

Jugl records a wide array of details, including your location, the time, the distance you've traveled, as well as the addresses of any stops made during your journey.

During their journey, Jugl users have the option to detail every stop they make. By simply clicking on the address, they can input specific information. Both admin users and supervisors can access these details. Users can also specify the expenses incurred during the trip and upload related pictures, receipts, or documents.

Can Jugl Log Employee Locations?

Yes, Jugl features a permission-based user location tracking option. Users must clock in for Jugl to begin tracking their location, which continues until they clock out. Users can clock in and out multiple times, and location tracking will only be active during their clocked-in periods. With a focus on information transparency, Jugl allows users to add visit reasons, input travel expenses, upload photos, and include additional details. This feature enables team members to stay informed and receive comprehensive reports on employee business trips. All trip data are securely stored in the cloud and can be accessed via both mobile app and web, with the Jugl web recommended for a larger map view.

If Signal is Lost, Will Jugl Still Log the Employee Location?

Jugl utilizes telephone signals to track location. If the signal is lost, Jugl may not be able to track until the signal is restored. Once the signal is back, tracking will resume. Jugl records all events, such as when the signal is lost and restored when tracking is paused, the duration of idleness, and more.

How Long is Employee Location Log Stored in Jugl?

Currently, there is no limit to the retention of employee location history in Jugl. However, we will soon implement a policy to retain these details for 30 days.
