Key Points and Implications of Removing Users from a Jugl Workspace:

Immediate Access Termination:

When a workspace admin removes a user, that individual instantly loses access to the workspace.

Group Membership:

Jugl takes care of automatically extracting the removed user from all the groups within the workspace. Other users will become aware of this removal since the individual will no longer be part of their associated groups.

Here's a sample message indicating how the removal of a member will be communicated within the group:

Chat History Retention:

Any chat history, whether from one-on-one conversations or group chats, remains intact within Jugl. Even if you had personal conversations with the removed user, you'd still be able to access those past discussions.

Re-adding a Removed User:

If a user is added back to the workspace, they can retrieve and view their previous chat history, picking up conversations right where they left off. However, they won't be automatically re-enrolled in the groups they were a part of.

Handling Tasks and Drive Data:

Upon removal, any tasks and data in the Drive associated with that user get transferred to the admin. It's then up to the admin's discretion to either retain or discard this information.

Steps to Remove a User:

If you have administrative rights, removing a user is straightforward via the Jugl mobile app:

  1. Navigate to the 'People' tab: This is where you'll find a list of all users associated with the workspace.

  2. Access User Options: Beside each user's name, there's a three-dot menu. Clicking on this will bring up a range of options.

  3. Choose 'Delete': This is the option that initiates the removal process.

  4. Confirmation Prompt: For safety, Jugl will ask you to confirm your decision. Once you affirm, Jugl will proceed to expel the user from the workspace and manage the subsequent data transfer as detailed previously.

πŸ”₯ Note:

Other users will become aware of this removal since the individual will no longer be part of their associated groups.
