Jugl Drive Function
Jugl Drive is a cloud-based storage where you can centrally store your business documents. It allows for universal or selective user access to folders and can be accessed both from the web and the Jugl app. Rest assured of the security as Jugl Drive is housed in a robust and secure cloud environment. It supports most file types and it has a 2 GB file size limit.
There are two distinct types of drives in Jugl:
Workspace Drive: This is a broader scope drive accessible to everyone within the workspace. If a folder is set to public within this drive, all workspace members can view and utilize it.
Group Drive: This drive is more exclusive. Folders and files within a Group Drive are only visible and accessible to members of that specific group.
π₯ Note:
We boast a swift file-upload infrastructure, allowing files up to 1 GB to be uploaded in just a few minutes. However, this speed relies on a strong internet connection. Additionally, you can conveniently upload directly from your mobile camera roll.
Prive and Public Folder in Jugl Drive
Within Jugl, users have the option to create two types of folders: Public and Private. A Public folder is accessible to all users within the workspace, allowing everyone to view and access the files contained within. On the other hand, a Private folder is tailored for selective visibility. While you can create it, you can also designate specific users who will have access, ensuring that only those granted permission can view and interact with its contents.
Please refer to the screenshot below. You'll notice folders in green and blue colors. The green folders are public and accessible to all users. Conversely, the blue folders are private, and designated for specific users, as indicated by the users' profile pictures adjacent to these blue folders.
Upon opening a folder in the Jugl drive, you're presented with two viewing options for the files: list view or icon view. The screenshot below showcases the icon view. To switch between these views, utilize the menu located in the top right corner.
Creating a Folder In Your Workspace Drive
Creating folders in Jugl is a straightforward process:
Navigate to Jugl Drive.
Click on the Blue Plus icon.
A popup will appear, prompting you to input the Folder Name.
By default, all folders are set to public. If you want a private folder, you can select the option for privacy.
If marked as private, you'll be redirected to another screen to choose the authorized users for access.
Once users are selected, you'll see a count of individuals granted access, along with their photos.
Finally, click the "Create Folder" button to establish the folder.
It's worth noting that folders crafted on mobile are accessible via the web, and vice versa.
